These photos were in the movie “Open Range”, a film by Kevin Costner. There was some discussion on the Hand Lettering Forum about it possibly being sandblasted. That discussion, with the help of Canadian Dan Sawatsky, led us to the actual person who made it for the movie. Rick Jansen did the signs for that movie along with signs for quite a few other movies. He sent along a nice grouping of photos from Open Range for us to view here. Thanks all!
